- You do not need any paperwork to start to sell our application. You just need customers and to be trained (by Nextel DAE or us) on how it works. We will help you do it. Email
 or call dealer support 1-877-4Vericom (483-7426) if you have a customer you think you can sell and have an appointment made. Allow 1-2 business days lead time for sale support in this situation.
- To receive your own java demo account, price lists, order forms, agreements, etc. complete the Representative Application today.
- Download our Non-Disclosure Agreement and ask the Principal or officer of company to print, complete, sign NDA and fax to 1-410-630-1135. Fill in state of incorporation where it says (company) on top right of NDA.
- Request what you want in "Follow-up" in this application. If you don't make requests we have to assume you have what you need to sell.
- We will send you startup materials, e.g. customizable brochure, price list, order form, java demo as requested. Allow at least one week to process, longer at month end. If you have a customer we can do it faster if you call us and name customer, size of opportunity, and tell us when your appointment is to help you. Reps with customers get priority over dealers with no live prospects -we'd love to chat but we are often flooded with orders and related work.
- To get trained, get a customer and we'll do on the job training. In the absence of a customer, contact your Nextel Indirect manager or DAE to arrange group training. We will also do custom training for confirmed groups of 10 or more via speakerphone/webinar. It's better though, if at least one of your sales reps can close a deal before we do formal training.
- You need Internet access and a GPS Phone (i58sr recommended) with Total Connect 1MB and public IP for polling) to use the Java demo. PacketStream Gold dealer demos = no public iPs.
- You don't need a Java demo to start selling. You can use a web demo. Once we get your completed application and NDA, you may request one employee (phone user) for free to start you off temporarily, more users and continued access is available depending on your sales results. You can order more at a discounted rate. These demos may only be used for sales demos and cannot be supplied to any customer for more than 30 days. When you request a Java demo account (after email the application and fax NDA), you will receive an activation email which includes setup, support and training instructions in 1-2 days.
- The best way to learn is to engage us in helping you do a demo and fill out the forms. We know you're serious, we both get an immediate return and you will absorb the training.
- We expect you as our representative to: (a) get the lead (b) sell (once trained - on the job or classroom) including filling out and submitting orders accurately and completely, (c) provide first level support, order phones and voice (if applicable) + data services correctly, help customer install application and get running, (d) train your reps on how to sell the product (e) train the customer in how to use product (e) be ethical, knowledgeable, and fairly represent our products so you (g) generate satisfied customers. This can all be done via phone. You can optionally provide on site kid glove treatment and you can charge extra for this service.
- You do not need a contract to sell our product, just to receive commissions from us. Your primary compensation will still be Nextel voice and data commissions; we make it much easier to sell voice and data but our commissions are icing on the cake. The contract obligates you to certain performance and customer satisfaction requirements and minimums. There are both non-exclusive and exclusives (handheld and gps) agreements; the exclusive ones pay higher commissions. You can try us out without any contract. Except for promotional commission plans,. We will retroactively compensate you for 30 days before any agreement is fully executed by us. We are open to comments but have standard agreements for all dealers that cannot be modified individually. Sorry, but due to high demand for our products from any dealers, we cannot offer exclusives. We expect you to close at least one deal before we will send you a contract or commission schedule and discuss the details.
